Xiaomi says it Will Be Launching A Smartwatch Later This Year

Keep in mind Xiaomi? The organization that is gone for rivaling Apple? In spite of the fact that they at first propelled a few gadgets in Nigeria, they appear not to be making a great deal of buzz around here.

The brand, according to latest numbers from IDC, may no longer be one of the top five smartphone makers in the world, they’ve still got much cool plans on their table.

Vice-President, Xiaomi Co-founder and head of industrial design, Liu De, made it known at a conference in Beijing that the company would be launching it’s first ever Xiaomi smartwatch before the end of the year. Although no specific details as to when the smartwatch will be launched neither were specs of the smartwatch disclosed, it is being speculated that the device would be released in the second half of the year being 2016.
The upcoming Xioami smartwatch won’t be the company’s first wearable as the brand already has the Xiaomi Band and the Band 2 which is expected to be released in a few weeks.
